Do you think it's weird to be a boy and have 1 boy and 1 girl pirate... I have seen girls do it, but is it too weird for a boy? IDK why, but I do that on every game I play....

Hmmm? good question. I don't have any girl pirates myself. I do know that most girl toons on these games are rumored to be guys, don't know how true or untrue that may be. I guess I would stay away from it just so I don't end up with some confused gent talking nice to me LOL

I don't think that it is weird. I have 2 girl pirates and 1 boy pirate. I have never had a girl flirt with my my boy pirate. Make a girl pirate because you get to see the other side of the game. That's why I made my boy pirate. (I also made him to get facial hair and to glare at people. Rofl.)

I think it depends on the situation. I had a male pirate friend who made a girl pirate just to mess with the other male pirates, which didn't sit too well with me and we had a falling out over it.

I can see if you are new to the game, maybe you are used to playing a game like Tomb Raider or any other female lead hero type, and you pick a girl Avatar cause that's what you are used to. But to be constantly asked if you want to be in game BF/GF and all that, sorry not interested myself in getting that kind of a headache.

Well, in all my gaming life have I ever been asked that... I usually do it to become good at the game and pwn boy noobs XD

As long as you enjoy the game it shouldn't matter what gender you play as.

Stuff like that is the exception though.
