New content?

I havent played POTCO in about a year, and I was just curious what new content has been added in my absence. And just to clarify, I mean major content like new questlines, new areas, ships, etc. Thanks!

Surprisingly, Disney seemed to book in the content this past year. In terms of August 2009 to the present in major content...

August 2009
  • Notoriety Level Cap Increased to Level 50
  • Weapon Level Cap Increased to Level 30
  • Beckett's Quarry, the Catacombs, the Murky Hollow, Tormenta, and all other caves redesigned
  • Ship Speeds designed

October 2009
  • Jolly Roger and his Undead minions invade Port Royal in their first goal towards conquest of the Caribbean.

November 2009
  • Jolly Roger and friends begin Tortuga Invasions.

December/January 2009/2010
  • The ever-persistent Jolly Roger continues his campaign, on his final stop on Padres Del Fuego.

February 2010
  • The Casa de Muertos Guild returns, this time to Padres (and is still presently there for the questing,) in search of El Patron's Lost Weapons.

March 2010
  • EITC Expedition Fleets (and later on Navy Expedition Fleets) head out in search of Raven's Cove, the home to El Patron's Lost Weapons.

April 2010
  • New Inventory System (El Patron's Lost Weapons) is released. Pirates are now able to...
    • Collect new weapons and clothing from enemies.
    • Store more clothing.
    • Use new weapon types such as Sabres, Broadswords, Muskets, Bayonets, and Blunderbusses.
    • Carry their items along side with them, allowing for changing in and out of clothes and swapping weapons on the spot.
    • Carry more gold - cap increased to 200,000 gold.

May 2010
  • Expedition Fleets now called Treasure Fleets, although they are the same thing, except now, the Navy Fleets have joined the EITC's presence.
  • Potion Brewing Unveiled - Create potions that increase strength, speed, change your color, and so forth by completing a matching mini-game.
  • Ship Repairing Unveiled - Do various jobs (mini-games) for shipwrights to earn extra gold. These mini-games can also be found on ships both regular and Privateering, so you don't have to port to repair your ship.
Side Note: Captain Walter is "killed" by Capt. Ezekial Rott. (Ding-Dong, the Captain's dead!)

June 2010
  • Cannon Defense Unveiled - Work under the employment of the Navy as you shoot down bandit ships wave after wave, trying to steal the town's mine supplies.

Some may consider a bunch of those not content, but seeing as how they affect the game, I might as well have added them 8-)
