Today is a sad day.. in POTCO
 

Yes.. it is a sad day in history, America, and the world, for today a crew of 4 brave soldiers raid Kingshead wishing to fight some Navy.. and find something.. that saddens our hearts.. and will sadden yours as well.

Here is a sequence of events that has happened in our raid..

1. arrive at Kings.
2. find out that the doors are wide open and that the Navy is dumb.
3. discover that Empty Kingshead has died..
4. discover that two intruders have infiltrated our great fort of Kingshead. They call themselves "Buildings"
5. go to that maze place in the fort thingy and find out that some one has managed to make walls disappear
6. then we go to the path to the sacred "Dock of secret"
7. and the unthinkable happens..

THE.. THE.. SECRET.. DOCK.. IS..IS... GONE!

WHY!!!??

So.. this thread is created in honor.. and memory.. of this great Dock.. all it ever wanted to do was be discovered by bored, glitching pirates..

So post your comments, your speeches, your photos.. *cries*

Here is the proof.

That dock was used for many reasons such as meetings and overall fun, as was empty Kingshead. Both of these were great for creating a game inside of a game.

I have to agree with Sven on this, they really should have tried fixing other problems before fixing the fun ones.

I don't really get why they went and removed empty Kingshead, rather than focusing on other things. Empty Kingshead was good for games, and large guild activities. It's nice that they're fixing glitches, but I think everyone would have preferred them to focus on more important parts of the game. Although, it's not a major loss. Those new buildings could lead to something, such as newer content.

That being said.. the dock being gone is really the least of my concerns about the minor Kingshead update. The dock never had a purpose, other than for glitching. Every other purpose it could have was easily outmatched by the empty Kingshead field.

Yeah and they added two pointless buildings for no reason.

They should fix the one where when I switch to another ammo on gun and switch back I cant use that ammo anymore without putting away my pistol.

Exactly. I was one of those soldiers, and I proudly give you my memories (in picture form) of the secret dock.

It's too bad. It took me forever to figure out how to get there. I didn't have enough time with it. :(

Maybe they are adding more stuff.

Well, they added 2 pointless buildings... The doors don't even work.... Someone put super glue on the hinges.... :(

Those two buildings may be pointless now, but who knows what they'll do with them in the future (if it's another mini-game...). The doors don't open because what they intend to do with them hasn't been added to the game yet.

As for the gun glitch you mentioned, it's nothing major (assuming that this is the same glitch). When you switched ammo, then switch back, sometimes the game may think you have no ammo selected. A simple fix to that is select another type of ammo. If it's a different glitch (or the same), just report it.

Well I guess I cant complain. Not everythings perfect.

ya they fixed alot of fun glitchs there nothing big they were little fun things i found a new one there and they just fixed it and it did nothing but look pretty haha i was like but nothing was wrong with it haha

the Dock has been gone for some time now at least through my entry way.....

The secret dock was obviously intended for some quest they never finished. It connected to the back cave which appears to be connected to a tunnel in the fort.

So, likely the goal was to sneak in or out of the fort from the back entrance.

If they are making these changes, that means that Chapter 2 is likely in the works - FINALLY. So, don't look glum mate - this could be good news!

It looks like the game masters are starting to get rid of the glitches, I tried drinking the Phantom Spirits potion and teleporting to another server and back, but it wore off!
Either people are sending feedback about the glitches, or they are just getting ready for the Kraken quest, AKA Chapter 2!

It should still work (although differently). When you change servers it will reset the timer for the potion. It may not be forever, but it still works. Not sure if this still happens though, although there hasn't been any update since the last time I tried this (2.. maybe 3 days ago).
