Uh, this seems to happen rather a lot actually. They reset it, it creeps again. Dunno why but it sure is weird huh?

This is a known bug every since they changed the official Daylight savings times in the US. We keep setting it and then it'll start to loose time again. Nick is working on a program which would constantly update the server's clock to fix the problem or they may fix the problem with a future update of vB. Either way, just hang in there as we try to resolve the issue.

You can't stop the NTP (network time protocol) service until the daylight savings time issues are fixed?

I haven't actually looked into it personally. Normally, Nick handles any server issues that we have since I'm normally pretty busy dealing with forum stuff. I'll have to ask him about that and see the progress he may have with it at this point. I know he's been busy re-writing the coding for userpages to work with the next version of vB. Otherwise, we'd loose that feature completely.
