Chat Buggy
 

First off, I am an adult. When I signed up I included my birth date, as we all did.

HOWEVER... The game will not let me chat, even with friends I have on DXD.
When I go to change permissions, the game says I must be over 13 to do that.

So far I have filed bug reports about this, and gotten form letter replys. At least they
didn't tell me to update my drivers for this: :xxxk0:

To make matters worse, I cannot get speedchat to work over a distance. A friend comes on and I click on whisper. The box says whisper to ____, but when I click on the speedchat, it puts the message on "local." Grrrr!

So far, when I click on the "support" button, nothing happens. I then went to the
DXD site and discovered they also have no way to contact them. I have a number for live chat, but I am not sure if they are set up for POTCO.

I put in my age. Im 37 yrs old and I cant talk to no one.
Plus I have already pre-ordered the game and Yet I still cant chat to my friends?
All I see fromt hem is blah blah blah
if i try to type to them, It opens all this stuff up and or makes me run LOL
Ive sent in numerous emails aswell

I might suggest you try calling the Toontown support number. They may try to defer, but they SHOULD be able to see how your Disney account is configured.

I do remember someone on this forum saying they did talk to someone in live chat regarding not being able to login before that first stres test. So you might want to try it.

IcyBluFire - you might want to make sure you have open chat. Go to manage account, log in, and go to community settings, and verify that you have open chat to unlimited disney members.

I have tried that as the first user has posted. I been told u have to be over 13 to do this... lol Im 37 quite old enough lol

LOL yeah, I guess you are old enough to do this ;)

They do say we will be testing out different versions. Do you have basic or unlimited access?

My screen says unlimited account but I can't chat. I tried the toontown live chat and they gave me an e-mail address to write to. I did that and got another form letter reply.
