There to get 9 portrets? Any help?

You will collect them from enemies that you kill. I have gotten portraits from Navy, EITC, skeletons and even a gator or 2. A box appears on your screen telling you you have acquired one just like a valuable or odd and end.

I'd say Undead Bandits are the easiest way to acquire Odds and Ends or treasures. After all, they are bandits.

And they don't have to be high level either. I've gotten mine from level 1-6 skeletons and navy guys. :)

But don't worry about getting them, because once you get them nothing happens lol
