DW Scavenger Hunt!!
 

Welcome one and all to my first ever Dueces Wild scavenger hunt!!

The tasks set before you seem simple. If ye do the minimum required they are simple!! However, as all pirates know simple does not always mean easy. The more you delve into the depths of the 5 simple tasks you will soon become aware they are indeed tedious and at times difficult!!

Strategy is as important as strength in these tasks!! For the first one who completes all basic tasks (marked by time PMs received and screenies posted) will receive 500 point bonus!! ONE only ONE team can receive this bonus. Keep in mind that the first one done may not be the eventual winner!!

The first 3 tasks will intertwine with each other. To save time and earn the most points they will need to be completed together.

I will start a thread for ye to post your screenies.
Venting is encouraged but not required. I’m sure Basil will allow a channel on the vent server for each team. I will also pop in on teams from time to time with little to no warning. I will try my best to pester and impede the proceedings!! I will basically be a little pooper all night. But in a good way.

Rules... Again LOL

1. I am extending the deadline. I realised with the amount of screenies it needs to be extended.

2. All team mates do not need to be in the screen shot. HOWEVER, there needs to be a good mix. One person can't go it alone. But It would be difficult for all members to be in every pic.

3. If you would perfer to e-mail me the screenies just PM me for my address.

4. HAVE FUN!! (I think Im making this harder for me than I have too trying to think of everything that can/will go wrong)

5. DEADLINE 8:00 PM Eastern Friday June 11th.

TASK NUMBER 1

Unscramble the 25 servers below. They are in no particular order…. PM me the unscrambled list.

1 point for each scrambled server

25 point BONUS for ALL

MAX POINTS EARNED 50


TASK NUMBER 2

There are 50 levels in the game. Defeat an enemy for each level 1-50. They may be either land or sea or a boss.

SCORING
1 point for each enemy. (They may be either land or sea or a boss) *up to 50 points

500 point bonus for 2 enemies on each scrambled server. Make sure Map is open to see the server name. (this is an all or nothing bonus) Enemies can be any level as long as you have 2 different on each server.

100 point bonus for all land OR all sea.

250 point bonus if you defeat all land AND all sea. Meaning 1-50 land AND 1-50 sea.

MAX POINTS EARNED 800 (50 for all 50 levels, 500 for 2 on each scrambled server, and 250 for all 50 land and all 50 sea)


TASK NUMBER 3

Find and defeat 25 different bosses. (These may be used for task number 2 as well.)

SCORING

4 point for each boss

100 point bonus for 1 boss on each scrambled server. (all or nothing bonus)

500 point bonus for a Flytrap boss.(does not need to be on a specific server. However you can count it as one of your Bosses)

MAX POINTS EARNED 700 (100 for all bosses, 100 server bonus, 500 for flytrap boss)

TASK NUMBER 4

I’ve lost my daughter Sidnie. She is a basic level 2 hidden somewhere on OUR server. Find her for me please!!!

She will go to jail at Midnight eastern time tonight. So if 3 teams do not find her by then all remaining points will be lost forever. You can feel free to visit her in the jail on PDF after midnight though.

SCORING

500 points to the first team to find her.
250 points to the second team.
100 points to the third team.

MAX POINTS EARNED 500


TASK NUMBER 5 (tie breaker)

150 points for the funniest screenie with a Stump. This is used only in case of a tie and will be voted upon by the guild as a whole.

SUMMARY

See it's easy!! Unscramble 25 server names. Kill one enemy for each level. Kill 25 Bosses. Find my daughter. Easy as Pie!!

Ultimate shortened example. 3 Servers, Level 1-6 enemies, 3 Bosses.
On Server ONE I got
Level 1 grave digger
Level 6 BOSS
Level 1 and level 2 ship
SERVER TWO
Level 5 enemy
Level 2 BOSS
Level 3 and Level 4 Ship
SERVER THREE
Level 3 enemy
Level 4 Boss
Level 5 and 6 Ship.
You would Qualify for Max points in all 3 first tasks.

Tandy found Sidnie for the 500 point first place score.
Sarah Found Sidnie for 250 Point second place.
Kid Found Sidnie for 100 points third place.

You told me it was a MINI Scavenger Hunt! That list could have been broken into TWO FULL nights!

Very enjoyable list and evening. You had a couple of ideas that we had never used before. Sarah and I had NO chance of winning, since I was there less than 2 full hours.

It was fun seeing and listening to everyone scrambling around. Nice event!!

Who won? What's the scores? Huh?? Huh???
(Just doing to you what everyone has always done to me when I run a Scav Hunt!)

You have until Friday 8pm EST to complete the hunt, I think, so GET BACK TO WORK, BASIL! Haha

Okay, so I'm getting my screenies ready, but if I post them, all the server names will be shown... Halp. :(
