Murphy's Loot Laws
 

If you want something you will get it....but

you get a gun but like swords
you get a sabre but like broadswords
you get a sea chart but like cannon
you get red clothes but it is a skirt and your pirate is a guy
you get El Patrons Lost Sword and you sell it by mistake:cat5:

I will definitely agree to the sea chart and cannon one. That's how I am, haha. In fact, it's gotten so bad that my only relic/famed weapon is a sea coin thing!

Now, here's one. If you get one weapon that you like but don use, you'll get it at least two more times.

Alright, I will give it a shot.

You get a skull chest, hope for something good, and get Deck-Hands Cutlass.

Lack of a lost sword = good rep but not a good reputation at the table

I have gone from level 47 to 49 on poor ol Darkhart - I'm fairly certain he wishes I would stop shooting him - and not a blue weapon to speak of, though I am at 1000 cheat cards ( maybe the 20 decks of cards up my sleeve are slowing me sword :) ) anybody wanna play poker for a Sword?

Ye put yer all into a boss fight and the guy pirate with ye gets a 'lavender' tee shirt...arr sose ye try again...and ye get a potato sack skirt? whats with that?

You have almost finished defeating a boss, only to have it reset itself and go back to full health. Betcha that was the boss that was going to give you El Patron's Sword too!

You want something, but takes a while to get it. As soon as you get it, you get something better. Then you keep getting the first item over and over again.

( 7 Engraved Broadswords after getting the Masterwork Broadsword proves this theory. )

LOL, I'm getting a kick out of this thread. Heres mine:

If you have a baby pirate and a high level pirate the baby pirate will fill up his inventory with rare and famous relics he can't use yet but your big pirate will only get a couple of rare weapons.

I've definitely taken note of that - and in my case, this theory is true!

You get nothing but Loot Pouches and Loot Chests for now, but as soon as you leave the computer screen to grab that half-eaten McDonald's Big Mac you left in the microwave, a Loot Skull Chest is dropped.

You get KO right before a skull chest drops.
You get a 'rare' weapon but sell it because it's your 20th time to get that one

You love red, you get a red shirt ... you get same exact shirt again on the same pirate. Why couldn't you get it on your near naked baby pirate that runs around in grey? Btw when trading comes has extra bright red shirt :)

After chugging away at Darkheart for 3 hours, you will get crude weapons and clothes you already own. And the original Murphy's law can work. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... Like pulling crude cutlasses and pink pants after sinking 20+ Juggernauts... Sigh...

If you are a high Notoriety, you can be certain your collection of wax dolls will increase til you can open a Wax Doll Store-Oh nvm-they aren't worth anything if ya try to sell them-DUH!

u want a crude sword u get an el patrons(why would u want a crude weapons u ask because ur a low level)
