Funny Coincidences
 

Every one of us has had something funny happen to us - a funny coincidence, at that. The point of this thread is similar to the Embarrassing Stories thread, where you post embarrassing stories, such as saying something in Local Chat that was meant to be whispered.

The point of THIS thread, is to post stories of funny coincidences that have happened to you all throughout your pirateering lives. For example, something that happened to me today on my other pirate. I was sailing Jackfiresteel's ship, and helping him level up his Cannons, when I say ".....I want a Fleet....." It was two minutes before the next hour starts. We start talking about whether or not Fleets start on weekends or not. I mention that they can happen at any time.

When it gets to "that next hour," a few seconds in and then - I'm wowed - we get a notice that mentions the EITC Fleet is about to set sail

Yah...well............:P That was just weird. Oh, right, we're supposed to put embarrassing stories here....Um, well.....

Ok, this one didn't happen to me, but yesterday there was this person trying to get me to join their guild while I was on Charles. I kinda walked away while they were whispering to me, and so I ended up showing as offline to them. They sent the message "Well, I'm whispering to you because there's people around here who can't join." Except it came out in regular chat. oops. :)

You think next time you can say "Del needs a Lost Sword."? :D

ok one time i said at dark hart " after this kill i hope i get el paton lost sword" then everyone is all like YEAH RIght then, after that kill. well u know what happens.. ( I GET LOST SWORD!!)

Actually, Crest, this thread isn't for "Embarrassing" stories, it's for funny coincidences, like the one posted by Maxinum.

OK so one time I was having incredible lag, and I said 'Hey I am probably going to get dc'd here soon...' And then, within the next maybe 20 seconds, I get disconnected. Talk about coincidence or what!

the day i started playig pirates was the same day the guild that i am currently in (and will always be in) was started as well

My funny coincidence is that i allways know that there is going to be lag on invasions <_<

potco coincidence....the game is geared towards children yet they have a few game characters that stand around and "work" the streets o.0

the main drink in game and main quest and u cannt even say teh word without it getting flagged
