Can we put more than two pirate infos..
 

on our profile page? and if so...how? I searched but nada...formatted like the two pirate info tabs provided ...if we can't expand that then may we use that format on our user page? and is their a code for it we can use? as that would save a lot of typing...Thanks in advance! :pirate91: :pirate_flag: :dancetl6:

You can only use place two pirate info tabs on your profile. I remember there being a thread a while ago asking this, but don't remember the exact response.

How about eight? ( just kidding )

Actually I have 16 on open, and 8 on Test, all unlimited. Yes - that's right - I'm a POTCO Addict.

I have eight active unlim. on open . It would be nice to have more tabs so we can keep up with progress on our pirates. Santa mods could consider it for all of us good lil girl and boy pirates!!

We use a customized code that's intergrated into our forum software to create the 2 pirate profile tabs. The mile long coding probably wouldn't work on your userpages as it'd be calling for additional profile fields not yet created.

I can see about adding addtional tabs to userprofiles. I've never created more than 3 tabs on a userprofile before but I'm willing to see if we can do more than that. What is a good number of pirate profiles to have?

Thank you Batleth!!! :) A regular account allows us to make four pirates...so at least that? Many people have two accounts. However many you can add to the user profile page at this time will be an improvement.

After playing around this mornin to refresh my memory on this, it's been a while since I programmed these, we can add unlimited amount of tabs. It's just the time of an admin plugging away adding them.

The "about me" tab has a slight problem. We can fit 2 or maybe 3 pirate profiles with all the different images and stuff but after that....we run out of room. To add more profile here would require me a great deal of trial and error testing to see if it's even possible to stack 8 or more pirate profiles with images there.

So the "about me" will have only the 1st two pirate profiles or you'll have to wait for me to do some testing and coding to get this section to work right. I'd like to some input on this to see what you guys want. I'm willing to put in the work, if you feel you really want this? If you think this is a moot point, then it'd be a lot easier skipping adding more pirate profiles to it.

Okay, the about me one is fine having just your main pirate showing...the unlimited tabs sounds good...but not necessary to make unlimited...so we need a poll? I will work on that now.

Personally , its a good thing...for the site...I think its a good thing to be able to see pirate info and boat names(yeah, from a svser angle), and from a guilds perspective to be able to look up more info on a candidate, and just to keep up with our pirates we are leveling.

We're working on setting up 8 pirate profile tabs right now. First 2 pirate profiles will display on the about me tab. If everyone is ok with that?


Probably a good thing to put your main on test and open in the first 2 slots or your best 2 pirates on open in them.

Sounds good. I personally could make due with Four. I could just cut out one of my opens that I don't use and add in my test. Any amount is good to me though.

Unused pirate profile tabs won't appear on your profile as long as you don't alter the default settings for them. It will make the edit your detail page a bit long though.

The first 2 pirate profiles, will appear in the "about me" while the others will NOT.

If you don't use these other profiles, you won't have their tabs appear on your profile page. So those only using 4 of the profiles, will only have 4 tabs for them appear on their page.


Hopefully, this is a good compromise to the problem to make most happy. You can never please everyone, all the time, but we do our best:psmiley35:
