Anyone used the new "Boot From Ship" feature yet?
 

I came very close yesterday, unfortunately I got sunk before I could kick the two offending crew from my ship. Kicked em outta crew from jail though. I decided to take a few lower level players from a friends guild out for a few plunder runs. I outlined the plan and asked that they follow a few basic rules while on my ship. No grabbing the wheel without permission, not taking the captains cannons, and above all no random shooting. I'd been calling targets and lining them up on some rich ships. Wasn't expecting any problems with people from my friends guild, but there's gotta be idiots in every crowd. And to give credit the rest of the crew were great and will continue to be welcome on my ships. Typical scenario, in hostile waters high level enemy ships all around us, we are battling a behemoth, when these two genius's decide to tag every enemy ship around us.

I did not know we could on normal ships now. Cool. :) Thanx for the info mate. :)

So let me get this straight - the Booting feature is now on Normal sailing?

1: Now I can finally do Public sailing.
2: There WILL be many times where I will have to boot people off my ship.

Negative! It is not on open! I just tried it, and it was a no go.

Someday Disney will gift this to me, someday!

So u kicked them outta crew while u were in jail, not booted them from ship..

Boot from ship feature does not work on normal sailing, if you try to pull out their cards, the Boot from Ship button is totally greyed out, unclickable.

On a sidenote: Captain's Boarding Permission is STILL not working. Anybody can TP to your ship, friend's of friends, friend's of friend's of friends. So closing the ship totally for now is not really a choice until Disney fixes it lol.

Wasn't aware that it wasn't working I rarely make my ships public. hence haven't had a need for it until yesterday.

I was sailing last night, on open, not in SvS, and could find NO boot from ship function anywhere.

Are you sure that you weren't in SvS?

No Basil this was in regular sailing, its in the moderation tab when you bring up the card for a player on your ship. Click the moderation tab and there should be an option there that says boot player from ship. I wasn't aware that this wasn't working as I didn't get the chance to try it.

The entire moderation tab isn't working right. Try to report someone, and you get booted all the way out to the report a bug page.
