Lost Relics and Rares
heres what i sent in
this is regarding the new loot system i dont like that you get a loot skull chest and all it has is a cabin boys cutlass a card and a tonic i think you need to increase the chances of getting a famed weapons and more rare weapons heres what they sent me We appreciate your feedback about the new Inventory System and the Lost Weapons of El Patron. When Jolly Roger and the EITC Black Guard discovered the Lost Weapons, they split them up between their forces, which is why you can now find them by defeating enemies throughout the Caribbean. As such, only Jolly Roger and the EITC know for certain what enemies are holding onto which weapons. Your best bet is to face as many new enemies as you can in order to increase your chances of getting the weapons you have your eye on. Exploring and facing new foes is exactly what a Pirate's life is all about! |
Random luck mate:12_1_138::cat-ani: Nice to have that confirmed thought thanks for the info:mickeypiratezd4:

I find no fault with what Disney said, Tom. BUT, if I'm reading your question to them right, their answer is not even close to answering your question.
I too find it rather annoying to get the sometimes rare Loot Skull Chests, only to find that there is nothing but a small amount of gold, a cheat card or two and a Cupie doll or a staff that is so pathetic, I wouldn't even use it as a back scratcher. These kinds of things I would expect in a loot chest or a loot sack, but not the skull chest. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect and don't want there to be a Famed Relic in every skull chest, but there should be SOMETHING worth while in them a good share of the time. I find it really odd to get a loot sack drop, and find a rare item in it, and then get a skull chest later on that has absolutely nothing worth keeping or even worth taking to a shop to sell. But, this is just my opinion. |
:cat-ani: I agree with Charles, it is odd with the loot being worthless from a skull chest and a pouch with a rare item. Actually... I find it annoying.
Disney speak We appreciate your feedback about the new Inventory System and the Lost Weapons of El Patron. Interpretation Sarcasm Alert Pouches, chests, skull chest and all their contents are random, it was easier and faster to write the computer code for it this way. |
I've gotten a total of 3 skull loot chests. One contained my Rare cutlass (forgive me, the name escapes me at the moment...something along the lines of a Bloodfire or similar...) and a card, one had 800+ gold and a tonic, and one had (not joking, should have screen'ed it because I actually laughed out loud) an 8 of spades, a rusty cutlass, 25 gold and a green belt. How that was 3-skull worthy I'll never know.
I totally understand their reasoning behind keeping the rare/lost weapons...well, rare and lost. But at the same time I've not gotten anything worthwhile in a LONG time. I'm not a person who is constantly on, but when I'm on I make a point to go at least for a bit to a higher level or boss and see if I can get lucky with a weapon drop. Has this brought me much lately? Yes, I've gained many levels on many weapons. LOL. But that's about it. I'm not complaining too much about it though. I love the drops, however cruddy they may be at times. =P |
I don't know Stella, that 25 in gold is a massive amount of loot. You shouldn't be keeping all that gold with you. I suggest putting it in a bank! :laughks2:

...so do they have like a disney pixie assembly line ye think? putting stuff randomly in the chests at warp speed...lol....or interns...yeah...probably interns...or worse,,,volunteers!
|
No, I believe even volunteers couldn't mess the loot drops up this badly. It was probably done by the same people who thought it was a good idea using grenades in game!
Hey kids! You can't shoot a guy with a gun because that's just too violent for you(Just forget that the movies had pirates fire at each other). BUT, you can blow your enemy into many many pieces with a grenade... much more humane than a gun!!! |
