Hey mates..I am new to this forum. I have been playing POTC for a little bit now at level 21. I am a bit of a loner atm tho..was wondering..I boarded a flag ship last week..one of those Phantom ships..alone, but was sadly defeated..those scoundrals! Is is possible to defeat a flag ship single handed? Has it ever been done?

Aye, those viscous skellies can be at yer mercy mate... Before you know it you will be armed to the hilt and they will be puddy in yer hands. At level 30 you will get your staff quest.. a mighty weapon that be. If ye be needin a hand, just PM me or anyone else here and we'll be happy to assist! ( Just keep yer rum hidden well, we got some AA candidates around here)

and to answer your question, yes it is. I once boarded a Spanish shadow crow with a crew, but the crew got knocked off before we could really cause damage but I took out a bunch of level 21s all by my level 15ish lonesome with a doll and lots of tonics. Next time, though, a crew was had because thar was one of the scariest things I've experienced in the game

And at level 21, you probably can solo a few of the flags, but definitely not all of them. I wouldn't go after the Colussus when it has a crew of all level 30+ when I am only level 21.
