Ship Customization
 

heres what i sent in to members services
when will ship customization come out and when
it does i think we should be able to build our boat from scratch with
the money we have (hull of a war frigate,speed of a sloop and armor
and cargo of a war galleon)and also we need like little rooms to sleep
and do parlor games and just sit and talk have like a kitchen and we
need to be able to customize or sails by making a crest to put on our
sails and our hull by color and we can also put our crest there and we
need to have certain thing like figureheads and othere thing that
contribute to our ships stats

While we take each of our guest's suggestions into consideration, we cannot guarantee that we can use all of the ideas submitted to us, nor can we give a specific time that new improvements to the game will be implemented. Keep an eye on the Current News for updates on new features.

yeah they just added in what you suggested although the developers claim to read all of the suggestions i think customer service handles all that

well we can hope they will think about it haha but ya they did there oh well we may do this but we may not u will never know! haha

i think member services is a really fancy word for customer service

In addition Tom, we should be able to name our ships with Type a Name. Sort of like when we create our pirate, we can choose a name from the premade names, or type out our own name ;)

Custom ship names have been available server side at least since Privateering was on test (for example, Host GM Captain Walter's ship "The Magic") Can't imagine it being too hard to implement Type-A-Name for ships. Would be really cool if this feature were to unlock after you had a certain sailing level. Dibs on "The Gray Ghost" lol...

With the Addition of weapons, Yet a VERY small choice of ships, I say there will more than likely be ship customization. To my opinion, more will Try to get the toughest ship so I would think different parts/areas of a ship during customization may be unlocked after a certain level and/or quest. Exen Ship of the Line may be unlocked at level 30 sailing plus some quests. Every pirate can now be unieqe with many new clothes, many new weapons, and more colors with potions. There could also be dinghy rowing, where you gotta row your ingy out to sea(your ship) instead of magicly flying there. Many updates will come soon on ships and more wepons, mabey even more monsters since our levels are going up.

Of course ship customization is coming. It's inevitable. But the real question is, will they put hard work into it, so it's fun?

The only signs of ship customization in the phase files are bandit flags, which show an additional four types of colors we may be able to use for our ships.

So we have white, but now here's orange, red, blue, and green.
