You should post this in the Site Feedback Forum or PM a mod or admin

I almost PM'd a mod but since I didn't find the answer searching or at least I failed to find it I thought that it'd be easily available here at an obvious place.

You do break the POF rules and guidelines by posting a unapproved link. From what I know and understand you can ask a mod if its OK to post a link. If they say no, then you can say that for those interested they can PM you for more info. If they say yes, then just post.
I might be right or I might be wrong. I suggest you ask a the POF Staff.
