Release Notes - May 06, 2010

• Ship Repair minigames available at main island shipwrights. Complete all five to earn gold or to repair your ship at sea.
• Potion Brewing minigame available at main island gypsy carts. Dozens of fun and helpful potions can be created.
• Fixed female head/neck model glitches.
• Cheat cards are chosen from the Sea Chest Card page during poker games.
• Grapeshot cannon ammo now damages ships and slows repair efforts.
• Fixed several quest guidance bugs.
• Added minimaps to several jungle and swamp areas.
• Fixed French and Spanish hats on female pirates.

Dang it Sven, you stole it from me....I haven't even been able to get on yet....I had just finished updates and then it booted me as I was going to press Play. *Sigh* maybe it's not meant to be...

I bet they're adding The Fishing Mini-Game and The Land Cannons Mini-Game about time too. :)

Who said that the Land Cannon thing is a mini-game?

I asked Member Services for them to please tell me about the new flag now known as "The Land Cannon's Mini-Game" and they responded by saying that The New Land Cannons Mini-Game was not ready. etc. :)

Test is back up. Let's go try some more of these things!

OMG - Fishing and Potions are now a "weapon". So far, potion gives you rep. A friend told me it gives 25 reps per potion brewed.

Ok, sure if im bored, i would like to play some mini games while chatting. However, I dont like the idea of mastering brewing potions by standing around gypsies for days or standing on the dock trying to catch fish and master fishing?? I really hope POTCO scrap this idea. I rather master grenades 5 times.

All I hope is that fishing and brewing potion be made optional. Nobody wants to level them up all the way to level 30.

Btw- Potion Brewing not available for basic access. certain low level potions are available for basics to brew

Who said you have to master this? I honestly think this makes the game 10 times better it feels more like a game called Puzzle Pirates.

Like Jack said, you don't have to be a perfectionist and master them if you don't feel like it.

I ran into a problem, when I try to buy regular potions from a gypsy, I crash out of the game. I have filed a bug report.

I found a bug where after getting a non-existant potion in the game, when viewing it in your inventory, it says that you have 1/0 of it, and crash shortly. Trying to use it also resulted in a crash, and the only way to fix this is to delete it off the inventory quickly. I have sent bug reports on this problem.

Not sure about fishing since it isn't here yet, but you don't have to level them up. Leveling potions up just lets you unlock new ones (20 being the highest as of now).

Cool i hope Fishing comes soon... :)
