Captain's Boarding Permission NOT working
 

I have tested several times and found this bug (both on test and live)

I could uncheck all the boarding permission (Friend, Crew, Guild, Public etc) and those in friend list, crew, guild would still be able to board my ship.

I double checked this by teleporting to a friend who is not on her ship. She was on her guildmate's ship. Normally, it would tell me "You cannot teleport because you do not have the boarding permission" or something like that. But no, it allowed me to tp to her guildmate's ship with no problem at all. I checked their ship's boarding permission - Friends, Crew, Guild are allowed. Im neither one of those.

Soooo this is a really bad bug its going to cause nuisance. I hope those reading this can test it out a little and see if its the same, and help to bug report! Thanks.

Was public checked?

No nothing was checked when im on my ship, i closed my ship to everyone.

I've confirmed with djrfan here and she said this bug has been around since the inventory update :S.

Aye it's been on test and open since the updates were added to both. I've even noticed people who are not friends of the captains boarding a ship by teleporting to someone else in crew. For example: say BBW is the captain and sailng her ship and I'm in crew, someone not in crew can TP to me and board her ship. Before we would get that message that the person we are trying to get to is on a ship we dont have permission to board yet. Im hopeing that they fix this. I know not as important as other things they are working on, but none the less its annoying and should be fixed. So, consider yourselves warned! LOL. People can come to ya even if you dont want them to when you are on your ship.

Yes I've noticed this before when I was teleporting to Captain Del ( he was running for no reason on our loot night and it so happened that it worked ) and both of us were in shock. This NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP because of the bad things that could happen with friends friends friends of friends coming. We had a basic low level come to our ship ( by friend I think ) and he started to curse at us, had to report.

Yeah, this happened to me when the update was on Pirates Online Test.

..last nite on ship pvp(seafox was top of leaderboard-spanish...with the help of a very nice mcraging gunner for me by the name of will)..a rude low level player came onboard...well, when you are cruising like crazy,,,its hard to do it...but I booted him,,got the message "so and so has been booted from your ship'....

ok,,,a juggernaut appears right off our island...the low level guy comes back...and proceeds to shoot at juggernaut...and every othr ship but the enemy...I boot him....get the same message...he doesn't boot...try again and again...can't boot the guy!...soon later, I crash...get booted from me own ship...lol.. but Will kept her going til I got back...bummer all around...I woulda quit if the guy had managed to get on a third time(yes, public was turned off..and I reported it with the crash bug thing they send.)

Makes ya wonder why someone booted is ever allowed back on board, for that login session. Also makes ya wonder why captains don't have command of their own ships in this game. The fact that it exists in SvS but not is regular sailing (where it is equally important) is baffling beyond excuse. Shame on you, Disney.

Taking months getting the boarding permissions thing to finally work, then blatantly disabling it on a whim one day? Shame on you Disney.
