I boarded an EITC Ironwall today with my friends. I am Notoriety 13, and one of my friends was over Notoriety 20 - I think she was Notoriety 22. I thought, "Oh, this'll be a walk in the park - a picnic - a piece of cake." But oh, how I was wrong! The minute I boarded I looked to my left and saw one of my friends die. Then I saw my Notoriety 22 friend look green and die. Then my other friend died. Then a red -250 sign popped up. I looked at my health hopelessly as it dwindled to 0 and I went to prison. I was attacked by a Lv 36 Assassin, my friends were attacked by a Lv 26 Mercenary and a Lv 30 Assassin. WOW!!!!

And yeah the soldiers on EITC flagships are usually pretty strong.

That's why I avoid ships. Ships are evil. If it was just one level 22, I could take him.
But then I usually die when there are more than one high levels crowded around
there. >_<

Yeah, the recent patch has made it definitely more difficult to board a ship, mainly because you can no longer kill the whole crew before boarding (by using cannon fire). I tried boarding a Navy Centurion by myself today, and I had to fight three lvl 17+ navy veterans. It was over in 10 seconds. Let's just say I'm not too happy with the change.

yeah i really hate that patch because im not good with crews. what i do is broadside till they have low health and then go down to a cannon and shoot till their ready to be boarded then i grapple them,kill all the guys,and then board. But since that patch came i just grapple them and shoot at their ship until time runs out. (Lol did you know you came shoot down the masts on ships :) )

I guess this must be why I am hopelessly stuck on my quest. I have to rescue Althea from an EITC flagship. I actually sent in a bug report asking Disney to please add more EITC flagships to the game. I can look forever it seems for one, only for someone else to already disable it. The other day I was beating one to death-when another ship gave it the last blow and grappled it. This wouldnt be so frustrating if the EITC flagships were as bountiful as the regular flagships.

If anyone else is stuck on this quest-please let me know and we can work on it together. I would really love to be able to move on in the storyline.
