Heal Thyself! (New exploit from the new loot system)
 

So, I was helping some people on Neban the Silent...

Attuned them, healing, attune Neban to get a single poke in (so I share in the loot)...

Neban breaks my attunement...I re-attune all again...



And I somehow attune myself!

Listed in the attunements, instead of "Edward Edgemenace LV36" it says "You LV36."

Not only am I able to attune myself each time I hit the rock next to Neban accidentally, I'm even able to heal myself! I was able to re-attune myself a few times with separate Nebans...sometimes more than once after he would break attunements.

Does anyone know a consistent way to do this glitch? Obviously Disney isn't going to fix it, since they went to some trouble to add it when they added the new loot system...even to the point of changing the pirate name displayed in the attunement list to "You"... :-) So it is pretty obvious to me, this is an intended "feature," alas, that is very inconsistent and rather hard to figure out.

I noticed this a while back, however, the way I did it has supposedly been fixed (I haven't tried). When you use the red voodoo doll (most commonly seen as the Wax doll), you would deal damage to other pirates. Upon attuning another pirate, you would also attune yourself. You don't get to heal yourself, rather, deal -1 damage to you and the one you attuned.

I'm not so sure that this was actually intended to be in. I get that it changes the name to "You", however it was never actually listed in the release notes, and it randomly happens now. It would still be nice to know how to use, and the healing/curing effects could come in handy :pirate2:

I managed to attune myself once during an invasion. Was rather a lot of fun but something broke the attunement and I haven't been able to repeat it since.

Happened to me all the time on test... just cant get it now.
