How To Get The Darkfire Cutlass

Forged by renowned Raven's Cove swordsmiths, the Darkfire Cutlass is a magical weapon. While being attacked by Jolly Roger's Undead army, the island gypsies cast a powerful hex on this cutlass. When swung at an enemy, the blade lights up with green cursed flames that burn both the Undead and the living!
Instructions:

1. Press the 'I' key to open your Weapons tab.
2. Click on the 'Redeem Code' button at the bottom of the tab.
3. Type the code in the 'Enter Code' window.
4. Click on the 'Confirm' button.
5. If you entered a valid code the weapon will be added to your collection and a 'Code Success' message will appear in the chat field. If the code is not valid or has expired, a 'Code Failed' message will appear.

Darkfire Cutlass Codes can only be used one time, and will expire on May 31, 2010. You must be an Unlimited Access player to use the Darkfire Cutlass.

I got one of each of them on my four pirates. But I can't get it on my test pirate.

How do I get the code? It's probably pretty obvious, but I honestly don't see how unless "darkfire" is the code itself....
Edit: After typing "darkfire" to see if that worked, it did - and made me feel like a moron looking at how seemingly obvious it was, but hey, I got it at least.

just got the sword today... its nice but wished it was like a always on fire sword.. you know for it to look all cool instead of one wimply little slash..... the attack on it for me is usually 54 for the fire slash..... -_-but hey atleast its rare..

I wonder if you typed "lostsword" in you would get El PAtron's sword lol!

I redeemed it, then threw it away because it said 'Unlimited Access Only'. I told some other pirates around to type it in and redeem it.

I got it before and its capital letters only Batleth.

I got one just to test it out and... over all, I'm going to ask, what's the point of this sword? To be a Collectible? Cause from my point of view, it's worthless, what am I supposed to do with a level1 Cutlass, it is a great sword for a low level, but in all sense, couldn't Disney have made a code for a Good useful free sword for Mid-High levels?

I think the point of the promotion is to give away a sword that every pirate could use, regardless of level or skill.
I was able to redeem the code using lower case letters. I believe POTCO codes are case sensitive.

i got it with all lower case too.
