Okay, I admit, I've been out of the game for about a year. My bad. Life happens. In any case, I've been loyal to this guild for over two years when I first started playing. But lately, its been hard to be loyal to a guild that I never see. :sadmh9:

I've only been back for maybe two weeks now, but I've only seen a low number of people on, maybe four at the most at a time. :piratewheelgo2:

I play mostly during daylight hours when my daughter is in school and when I'm not working, randomly I play at night after she goes to bed. Maybe the freaks really do only come out at night? :piratetongueor4:

I miss my active guild, where someone was always on, and a few always willing to help. I miss my chatty guild, where we had fun, where we plundered together, not only on guild nights. I've never made it to a guild night EVER, they are just bad nights for me, but never felt I needed to because I used to see everyone on a regular basis.

And so I've come to a very sad decision for me, I'm removing Constance Rewlbraka, one of my lower pirates, from the guild in hopes to find a guild that is active when I play. There's only so many echos a pirate can hear before a pirate goes mad.

Jade, tis a tragedy to hear you say such things. I know for a fact that during previous events like invasions, the ETC has the good fortune to fight side by side with Deuce's members.

A number of DW members are mates of mine and I do hope this may be just a matter of bad timing or coincidence.

Life happens for all pirates and the Dueces have found themselves in simultaneous hectic periods for the last few months.

The guild is still alive and well, just in sporadic moments. Many players, however, have lost interest due to lack of new content, and activity revolves around the same 30 people or so. We're still around! I'm just trying to finishing school, and I work a lot so it leaves seldom little time for my usual standing around in game, haha.

Anywho, I've missed you Jade! You're not going to slip through our fingers so easily. Come the middle of May, you'll be seeing so much of me you'll be wanting me to go away, haha.

JADE! Yeah, RL has most of us gripped tightly by the throat right now. We're still here, just not as often as before. Last few months I've been pulling 60 hour work weeks...leaves little time for blowing things up....

Seems when we do meet up in game RL takes over pretty quickly for quite a few of us lately! And there was a rampant streak of illness and cranky computers over the last few weeks, too. Hope you don't give up on us, Jade. I will be on more once my dissertation proposal defense and topic approval is finished, just mostly at oddball hours.

Jess- I just took my last test yesterday of one HECTIC semester. I can relate.

Sarah- I work between 50-60 hours a week right now too. It's slowing down though, and I'm thankful! Life is so crazy for me, been that way for about a year, but I finally got into a groove of things to have time to myself. Its easier now with the semester over!

And I would never give up on my guild completly. You all should know that! Constance is the only one moving, and I'm pretty sure its only for a short period of time.

I hope everyone gets over their illnesses soon! A pirate's rum stash is only safe for so long unattended! :buds:

I apologize sincerely. I've been a MIA GM for about 3 weeks now. I haven't left the game, I've been super busy. I should be ingame more starting next Tuesday. Things are just hectic right now.

Lot's of work and personal stuff going on.

I'll be honest, I can't seem to want to play this game anymore. It is too boring, and I am tired of Disney dropping the ball. Ok, we have new weapons. woopee. Nothing to do with them.

Unfortunately, I know exactly how you feel Rich. I'm playing another game that has been out the same amount of time that POTCO has and it is leagues ahead of POTCO.

Bas.. you know, in the past, I have been an ardent supporter of the game and that you could've counted on me to be around. There always seemed to be something to do (or at least someone would be around to make grinding fun), And when there was nothing to do, I could count on a guildmate to be AFK. Once they removed the ability to AFK push, I had no creative outlet in the game. I always had a blast trying to come up with new places to put my friends.

I think I realized not long after I made up the cave maps that there really wasn't a lot to do but grind against the same old enemies, over and over again.

I'll still be unlimited til next December, but doubt I'll renew. This could have been a fantastic game if Disney just put in the effort.

At the moment I hope they release a storyline before my current account expires, because if they haven't by then, then I am definitely done with this game.

I have not been on recently because I have been somewhat busy, but also because I have been playing a game that is much more enjoyable.

Well, wasn't THAT a sight for sore eyes ;)

I should mention after all my blah blah blah that I too should be playing a lot more soon enough. School is almost over here, and I have nothing better to do in my evenings.

Btw... Even when I do show up in game, I won't be able to make any guild nights anyway. My new work schedule is a W-T-F . I finally got my boss to see the insanity of their "Rotation Schedule" when applied to me (for those who don't know, I live so far from work that I literally pack up and stay in the town where my job is.) The rotation schedule was this crazy 2 on 2 off 2 on 2 off 3 on 3 off deal. Packing up twice a week was not family friendly.

Hugs and smooches to my friends. And Jade, sorry I don't play days much.. I might have to check in during days to see ya. Still remember you guilding me while doing the nade tosses at ships. And I remember you telling Jess to be gentle with me.

I know exactly how you feel. Steve and I have been away for almoost a YEAR. Like you we truly missed everyone. However we are now back with a vengenance!!!. Dam I have a lot of grinding to do!!!
