Problems????
 

I tried to log in 4 times tonight. Each time, I would get into the game, but I wouldn't have any friends list, my chat would type blank spaces, I couldn't see who was online, and it appeared that I was the only person on the server.

Went to PR, Tuga and PDF, ran the entire 3 islands, and didn't see a single other person.

Would have been great if I wanted to play solo, but I wanted to see my guildies.

Anyone else having problems?

Wow Bas.. no, I've never seen that. Did u do a report?? Was this open or test?

It's as if you were playing the game, but hand the whole game to yourself.

hmm... sorry but I haven't had this problem. Strange.

I logged in for a few minutes... had to dust off the icon first.

Worked as expected though... there were a few scurvy dawgs wandering the beach of Tortuga the short while I was thar!

You try relogging Basil?

...could he have corrupted game files?...everyone tells me to reload game...works sometimes..:)

I think I know what happened, there was this HUGE rum party and when everyone saw you log on they were like uh oh...and ran off with their precious rum before it got confiscated and drank

I saw you pop on we all said hey you typed hmm.. then went off line. Definately a bug worth reporting.

I'm with Trav, total noodle scratcher there. I saw you log on too, then poof. Was pretty weird.

If you saw me type the Hmmmm, that was on my third attempt. It's weird, because I didn't even see my own chat. Even as I typed it.

I'll try again tonight.

Oh, and yes, it was on open, and of course I put in a report.

When weird things like this happen to me everyone says "It's a Lizzy Thing". The other day, all land disappeared & if that wasn't bad enough, my ship disappeared from under me. So there I was being attacked by enemy ships with no ship to fight back & no land to make port! OH NO! Maybe it's spreading! Maybe it's turning into a Burgh Thing! Run, Basil-there is no cure!! (he-he-he just had to do that)

When you sign in on test, then sign in on open, your player friends list goes away. After 8 to 24 hours, it usually comes back on its own.

If you have a friend on open (who is a friend AND a player friend) delete your player friendship and re-add your player friendship, then you log out and back in, your player friends list is restored.

If you TP to a ship that is boarding a flagship, you sometimes get dropped on your port of call. When that happens, you can't see townspeople nor other players on that server. Logging out used to cure that; alternately, go to jail. (Throw some siege charges at your feet.)

Failing that, try clearing the files out of your cache folder, usually C:\Program Files\Disney\Disney Online\PiratesOnline\cache\*

It happened again. 3 times I logged in and had nothing on the screen but me and the island. No chat, no symbols, nothing

Deleting the entire game and reloading now.

I don't know... Could it be where the server just wasn't responding but you weren't getting the "disconnected" message? Actually, then why were you able to go from island to island? ...

Hi Mates... Having issues logging in on open.. Says updating and nothing is updating??? Same thing happens on Test.. Any suggestions???

NEVER MIND... It finally opened on open.... We'll see what happens!!!
