about trading ...

Do you know if there will be a set price when trading or if you will be able to haggle over price? Or will it be more like a barter system ( I'll give you this if you will give me that)

Just wondering...

There isn't a trade system in the game yet, hopefully there will be soon.

If they add it, I see it as being something like this: A player offers an item to trade, the other player then must choose one item (or none at all). Once that's done, both players must choose to accept the deal, if not, the trade is canceled.

Aye, I agree. It would be very similar to that. :)

Well right now on test, You can sell items to store owners. And boy do they give you the most random prices for items. You don't really get a say in the price though. They basically give you an offer and you keep it or take it.

ok.. well if all of that is true, then what is the purpose of the increase in the gold cap? Is it just because of the inventory expansion? I was thinking maybe it was for price haggling but I guess not.

Personally, I want a bigger ship... Like the ones in the FLEET!! Does anyone know what the new gold cap is? (I know it isn't 80,000... passed that again last night.)

Skip ;)

The new gold cap is 200,000 gold.

The reason for that, new weapons prices are raised up quite a bit. On top of that, when you consider you can sell a lot of items for A LOT of gold, 65k just doesn't seem to be enough.
