Spring cleaning?
 

Hey, will to be short I have a PC built to play and have never had a lag issue. The other night though I seemed to be stutter stepping through SvS which makes it like trying to shoot with a strobe light going ( I sank ) I asked the person driving if she was lagging as she often does and she said "nope". I keep my driver updated and all and was trying to figure out if its me and whats wrong if it is and a friend said he has to go through and clean out the game files or he lags I have never done this and have been playing for over 2 years but ????? do you guys clean out game files and how?

Go to the POTCO folder and delete the folder labeled "cache". I think that is what your friend could be referring to.

....thank you both...I checked that folder and had almost 2k items in it...I assumed the analyze-clear thingy you do as part of scheduled maint..would clear all irrelevant stuff...but thinking about it I realized that that states "seldom used" files...and I use my potco often...so thanks again...
