Now THAT is a good question. I'd rather use a solid picture, but I can't figure it out either.

Mods,,,you can close this as you like...pof default is fine by me!!:)

ok, well.. instead of closing it, how about I offer the answer to your elusive question?
Now keep in mind, its not a built in function, and its not necessarily real easy (takes some techno knowhow)... but it can be done with the following referenced <div> tag.

Here is an example that I used on my userpage on the Carsonlineforums site:

<div style="background-color: #ffffff;background:url(http://www.carsonlineforums.com/foru...&pictureid=174) center;">

To try to explain what you would likely modify to suit your needs, here it is broken down with color references:

<div style="background-color: #ffffff;background:url(http://www.carsonlineforums.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=33&pictureid=174) center;">

The colors parts represent:
background color code
background image url
background image alignment

Take the above line of code, and replace the above colored portions with your preferences,
being sure to leave all the extra ()'s, etc, just replace the colored portions.
Paste it as the first line of your userpage.

Be sure your background image is on an approved host (best to use your gallery).
A few quick background color codes: #ffffff is white, #000000 is black
You could use left, or right, instead of center.

Enjoy... be creative!

P.S. In case you were curious what my userpage on COF looks like: Dr. Zeppers on COF

..Ok....I had done all of the above Doc,,,before,,,and it tiles...but I will give it a go...theres a site with "approved" web colors( colors that show on any browser/page)...I will try to find that link, angel, as it has lots of color codes and the colors to pick from....

TY Dr. Zeppers....:)

Yes, it may very well tile. It has no way to stretch an image to the size necessary.
Not sure if theres an option to have it NOT tile.
I remember sizing the image I used on COF to what I needed so it didnt.
