Fact or Fiction
 

Today I heard that the crew member who ports a ship gets the second most gold besides the captain. Is this true or no.

(Personally, I have never heard this before, and I sail frequently with 2 pirates, in a pair of big guilds with some pretty old pirates.)

I am not entirely sure, but I think its fiction. I have never noticed this happen before.

I doubt that. The captain will have the most b/c he is head of the crew. The only other way I think there could be a different ammount is if someone in the crew 1. goes afk, 2. leaves ship and a ship is sunk or 3. arrives to the ship after a ship has been sunk.

I am not sure. I can not see how by just porting a ship will make you any more important then anyone else. I would think the person who ported might even get punished because they might have ported without the Captains permition. If everyone is on the ship at all times and nobody goes Afk, everyone should have the same cargo exept for the captain. ( Because of Captains bounus of course ) I would think this is fiction.

If you board after some plunder has already been gotten, I don't know if you get that plunder. I think something like that happened to me before. I boarded a public ship at the end of it's journey and didn't get anything. Can't quite remember though....

I would say it is fiction, never heard of this happening to anyone before.

See now that's what I thought too. I figured if anyone had heard of this they'd for sure be on here. ;)

Its fiction I have sailed others ships before and been the one that ported their ship and the captain,owner, got the captain bonus and I always get the same as the rest of the crew. I imagine someone joined a crew late after some cargo was recieved and thats how the story got started.

What about the take the wheel glitch thingy...boarding and taking it I mean...I keep hearing lower level plyrs rightfully complaining about it still happening....well, three times....they all had frigates...

Fiction. Just depends what time you board the ship on. If you board when the ship has sunk about 7 others, you wont get as much as the other people. And the captain gets the most because of the bonus.
