Black Pearl Quest Differences?
 

alright I wanted to know if you like the new black pearl quest or the old one. Talk about the ups and downs of the new quest. For me so fasr the new one is much much easier. Gordon Greer was shortened tremendously and I finish Doc Grog in an hour. Very easy so far. Giladoga is who I'm on now. Only 2% done lol. Tell me what you like better, old or new. Quest is a lot easier and detailed to me now.

I think the new rversion is uch easyer. It has been such a long time since I have done it the first time but I remember the hardest parts. And I have done the BB quest again with my sacond pirate and I think it is soooooooo Much easyer. Like Gunner has less quest and they are not as hard, And by helping freinds I find that quest do not ask for as hard things as before. Yes there are many differences to the old Black pearl quest and the new one and I say that the newer members of POTCO should be happy that it is not as hard xD.

Sure, the new Black Pearl quests are much easier. They are faster, take less time, and are cool and have a wide variety of things to collect and kill.

Actually, I prefer the old quests. Sure you were asked to sink 20 Navy Ships and EITC Ships by the last guy you need, but, to be honest, I think THIS was easier than what we need now because it's not specific in terms of what ship to sink. For example, the new quest asks you to sink a specific Navy ship. The old one just asks you to sink Navy ships - none in general. The same thing goes for the EITC part.

Also, the Black Pearl Boss Battle, in my opinion, was MUCH more of a challenge back then. To me, this was better than what we have now. The one thing I enjoy about now's Boss Battle is the new look for the Goliath. However, it's still not as defensive as it used to be, and it doesn't take hits very well. It's easy to damage the hull for it, and apparently the defense the HULL had went into the sails.
The Huge Navy War Frigate that was the Goliath back in the old days of POTCO was much more difficuly, as you would most likely make it to the Goliath in low yellow or red, and, since the War frigate Goliath had front guns, it fired pretty well. Plus, it was the only ship at the time that had perfect aim ( Originally at the time, ships would always miss if you were to sail in a certain direction, i.e. sailing reverse in the direction of Padres Del Fuego, enemy ships would not hit you. Going forward away from Padres Del Fuego, you are almost certain to be hit ). Also at this time, it actually HAD some good defense, and it took some time to sink. The sails weren't so strong, but it's not the most important thing.

Now that I'm done ranting about the old Boss Battle, I'll end this post. Thanks for reading.

Good points Thunder. It was much more challenging back then because there was not as many Higher lvls to help you. You had to do it the old way of going to Abassa and waiting for a good crew to come. And back then the only way to do Boss battle was to find someone who had it for a quest. ( There was no Treasure map lookout back then mates ) So you could not practice as much as you could now. The Golieth was much harder back then. Because of its front cannons and 99% aim. Also back then it was harder to get help for quest. Because most were too bussy with their own lvling and not too many high lvls near the begining of the game. ( But if I am Correct the Black pearl boss battle was off of Live game for a while because of problems ).

Well i remember that the old version was much harder and that Gunner was INSANELY long. He isnt as hard now and isnt as long either.

Honestly, the old boss battle was very hard. More often than not, we had around
1-100 hp left. For this won you can just sail through to get to the Goliath.

P.S. the new Goliath is totally awesome!
