Two questions...
 

1) I notice that when you set sail on the high seas, a little timer appears on the top left of the screen counting down from 59 minutes. What happens when this timer expires? I've never been out long enough to see it.

2) Is anyone else having a problem with taking multiple tonics at once? No matter how many I buy, when I hit T in the middle of battle, I get healed as if I took one tonic, but they ALL disappear from my inventory. I've stopped throwing money away on multiple bottles at once, but it kind of irks me.

I only know #2. Tonic is like a skill and it needs to be recharged when you use it. There should be a circle around the tonic icon that you can see recharging just like your Sweep move with your cutlass. I think it's worth it to be stocked up on the cheapest tonics, because it saves you trips to the Gypsy and are useful for certain areas that have frequent bad guys i.e. the fort.

Well, it's not that I wanted to use two in a row or anything. The number indicating the amount of tonics in my inventory went from 3 to 0 after one click of the T button. I got roughly 250 hp back in one go and all my tonics were gone.

Hmm that's interesting. I just tried it with my tonic, and it goes from 3 to 2. I wonder if your character has a bug?

It wouldn't surprise me. :) I'll mess with it some more today and see if I can work a way around it.

i had the tonic bug last week I deleted my pirate and started over it was fine... the 60 minute timer used to be the amount of time that u had to let crew members board your ship. but since beta 2 it is not marked and tucked in a corner so who knows
