Upgrading Weapons at the Store
 

After my voyage, I decided to go to the Blacksmith. When I arrived there, I had the option to buy a sword. I could either get the iron or steel cutlass, it did not say which I had to buy first. If I buy the steel and not the iron, what will happen? If anyone has the answer, please post here!

I forget which is which, but one is a level 2 weapon, and one is a level 3 weapon (or something like that). If you buy the level 3, then the level 2 will not be available for purchase ever again. Thats all that will really happen, if you prefer the look of the lower weapon, I would recommend buying that instead.

Buy the Steel mate its better then the iron.

Another option is to not buy either one and save your gold so you can get a war ship sooner. You'll be getting better cutlasses when you do the weapons quest later on anyway. You can do the same for the other weapons as well. Whatever you prefer, it comes out the same in the end.
