Messaging Friends
 

I was wondering how to talk to friends when you're out and about. If you whisper to them do they get the message?

I'm not sure if it's working yet, I know I saw "blah blah blah" instead of actual words from someone once, and I also heard people talking about it in game saying they couldn't get it to work; unless it has to do with ages -13 or something.

Best way to try it is to message between two people that you know signed up with adult accounts.

Last time I tried, whispering didn't work - even between two adults. My husband tried to whisper to me and all I saw was blah blah blah. If you are members of the same guild, you can talk through guild chat and then they can see it whether you're near them or not. Same with crew chat.

Well I hope eventually they add friend chat lol. It would be really nice to be able to leave messages for friends :)

Oh, did you "blah blah blah" to me?? It was in italics and that was the first time I saw any chat in italics in the game.

Hmm... I wonder if pirates will continue to "blah blah blah" when those Secret Friends
codes come out. It's not very piratey, eh? Should be more of a "argy arg arg."

Nope that wasn't me, I've only had people message me; I rarely would message someone unless I knew them or had to reply to them. I don't think I've met you in Pirates yet Wen, what's your name? I'm Maggie O'menace. :thsmilemh2:

Ah you're right, I don't think we've met. It must have been Tops, she has a M.M. name for her pirate too. :h-smile:
