'nother busted invasion
 

Ok, so the last invasion on Bequermo tonight went on till 11:20. Ya seriously. I didn't get any screenies, but the guys started coming in pairs again. Finally we just let them run through, and when the 2 guys on the right broke though the East Wall barricade, finally Jolly showed up. Dunno what was up with that, but wow, a 50 minute invasion? Good grief!

Was this in Open?

The one I attended at 9pm central went just fine. Powder Keg Runners and all. It was also reported by some of me guildies that the afternoon one went fine as well. This was Tortuga on open.

Curious as well if they are not all working the same on each server.

I was able to attend both invasions. The first one that Captain speaks of did go fine & we attained a victory. Then, I tp'ed to Bequermo. Quite a difference in the two, but ya have to admit Hawke, we did have fun with the glitched invasion. Got a whopping 300 reps for it..lol!Reports were sent to Disney, and I'm sure they are working on it.

Had to add this: Thinking of the two skellys trying to break through the barrier is still bringing a smile to me face. That took longer than some invasions! Maybe JR forgot to sharpen their cutlasses! Thx DW for allowing this pirate to join ya. It was worth missing some sleep. I needed a good laugh...

No problem on the two invasions earlier.

Thanks Hawke and Lizzy for the update. That is strange that one server would differ from another.

Strange, but ya shoulda seen it. These two undead spanish guys working their way, very slowly I might add, up the hill, a bunch of pirates following. At one point a group of us was standing there cheering on the skellies, telling them to hurry up and destroy the barricade! Something we never thought we'd do in an invasion but was seriously funny.

There was also an undead gypsy-many of the undead come forth from the ground. But when I tried to target this unluckey skelly with my staff, he sunk deeper & deeper into the ground then vanished!
One of the Spanish skellys did a dance around me...guess he was celebrating finally breaking down the barricade! Poor undead were a little confused, methinks...
Well, the best part-I didn't go to jail even once!

Now that the invasions are on Padres they last forever!
I was in one today and the enemies never stopped coming.

Got stuck in a busted PDF one tonight for the first time. Enemies only coming out 2 at a time. Finally we decided to let them take the barricades to see if it would restart it or at the very least end it. It took the little guys awhile, but after they took down the fourth barricade, Jolly came ashore and we were able to end it. This seems to be a random issue, talked with others on different servers whose invasions went off with no problems.

Yup, got pictures from Exuma, but none from Bequermo, where it also happened. Will post in the morning, it's late.

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't find it too amusing and left. I tried helping the skellies get through the barricade, but my cutlass appears to be cursed. I tried pushinhg the skellies to get them to move faster, but they seem to have no substance to them.

So, in a huff I just split.

but that didn't work either. We just had to let them take their eternally long way at it. But eventually they did break through both times, and Jolly did show. If you find yourself on one of these servers, you might just want to try letting them pass. At least till D wakes up and fixes this.
