Jolly Roger's invasions show no sign of stopping and there are many battles yet to be fought. Get in shape for the challenges that lie ahead. Join your Pirate Brethren for the second annual Feats of Strength Competition.


To enter the competition - which includes a swim, footrace and enemy battle - submit your in-game Pirate name, current level, and guild. Also include the day you prefer to compete (and a secondary choice). We'll publish a competitor schedule along with the event times, rules, maps and competition challenges next week.

Don't miss your chance to prove you are the strongest Pirate in all the Caribbean. May the best man, or woman, win! Speaking of winners, there will be a gold reward for ranking 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.

Note: Although the competition will run over two weekends, SPACE IS LIMITED. We will make every effort to accommodate your requested competition day and time, however due to the turnout expected for this event, participants are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What: The Feats of Strength Competition

When: Saturday, January 23, Sunday, January 24, Saturday, January 30 & Sunday, January 31 (Event times and server locations will be announced on Thursday, January 21, 2010.)

Where: Tortuga

Great contest for many a pirate. But since I never set out to be the "Strongest" (and that is a good thing...lol), I will be happy to watch the others compete...

I signed up, but chances are I will get kicked 2 mins into it XD.

Well I'll be an undead monkeys uncle! Ironman for pirates! Not competing, but I'm with Lizzy, this should be great fun to watch!

Not again! Last year - oh last year I hated this. I won, and I got a code... THE CODE WAS ALREADY USED BY THE GM AND DIDNT WORK, I called them, and I got a new code... didnt work either ghah! I will tell them again, and if it doesnt work, I will be mad!

What do they do here? Is this like the strongest guild thing?

Looks more like a triathalon to me. A swim, a race, an enemy battle. I'm guessing on this, but I would think it would be a high level boss. I wasn't around for last year though. Wonder if D considered that even though its the Caribbean its still January. Polar Bear Club anyone? :D

The last time they had this, we raced around the old Tortuga town 3 times, swam around the shipwright and dock, killed a gator, then attuned the GM.

I remember last years competition! I got dropped in to a race last-minute, and ended up coming in in second place! (And thanks to the GM for saying my name wrong.... *sigh)
Just signed up for the 24th and/or 31st. Can't wait!

Cool! I hope I can be there.....

I have Windows 7 and something updated on POTCO and it has an error now, it happens every time....
