When do you think chaptaer two will come?

I personally think it will be here this year. Disney did say it would be here last year after all. They may have just been late.

I predict that it will be on test in summer 2010, and open fall 2010.

How about you?

This year. They are facing the games extinction if it it doesn't come.

Seeing as how they've been building up quite a story through the invasions lately, I'm shooting for sometime in between mid-May and mid-July.... besides, if it doesn't come by then, I'm sure not many people will be left to wait anyway.

There is no way Disney can ignore the plea of millions of wallet-bearers worldwide, and not give us a second chapter within this new year.

Plus, I've formulated an idea:
In the Eerie Sightings in the Misty Mire, someone posted a quote from Captain Walter about the Golden Aztec Cutlass (or whatever its name is, but if you don't know what I'm talking about, read the thread). The important thing I think he said was the following:
''...Captain Rott told Jolly Roger - or whoever he was working for at the time...''
Well, isn't it obvious? This is the missing link! Captain Rott was working for Davy Jones! Davy returns to create a second chapter.

Well, there's a theory for ya. Got as many holes in it as - not gonna start that rant...

They will have to add it soon or the game will uh..... become undead lol

I think they'll add it around March 17th of this year (the time they once hinted at a possible Kraken appearance).

Some things apparently happened last year that delayed the release of content, and I think that instead of releasing it later in the year, they chose to wait. They hinted at, something would be coming to the waters when it turned green (around the 17th or March), and there wasn't any major content released until late August, early September. They probably fixed whatever was wrong by then, but decided to wait until the original time they wanted to release anything, and instead brought in the new level caps, caves, and so on, just to try and satisfy people until its released. That is just my guess as to why.

I too believe that it will be this year and I am also leaning toward St. Patty's day or sometime soon after. I do remember the sign of the green waters meaning a large sea creature is roaming.

Well...

I'd have to say sometime around March-May. If they don't get it out before summer, they won't be getting any new summer players, which could really help the games income.

It'd only make more sense to release something huge before summer so kids getting out of school can say a commercial and say, "Hey, I got good grades dad/mom, can I please try out this game?"

If they don't release the second story chapter by then, I'll be surprised, and will really doubt the developer's potential, considering the longest it took a cog HQ to come out in toontown was two years. They'll most likely be pushing two and a half years if they release the second story quest before summer.

Hopefully it will come out soon before the weapon grinding gets old... again.

At D's rate, never. That said, if it doesn't come out in the next few months... Well long time players are starting to leave again, and by summer there might be few players left, what with a new STO hitting the net in late February. No, Star Trek ain't Pirates by any means, but as they say, any port in a storm!

So true, we all have lives, famliy, friends, responsibilities, school or work. Oh work ... that thing we do for money that we pay disney to play pirates. That they in turn pay these people to just sit on the computer and design the next story chapter.:laughks2:

I think it will be released before summer or the game is dead for serious gamers. I will go basic then wait. I will pop in and see friends but I am doing this now. My membership is yearly and due in may, I hope I will renew because I love my guild in the game. Some people may enjoy having 4 level 50 fully mastered pirates flipping coins on the beach, but 1 is enough for me.

I believe its gonna be around March as Sven said. Remember a while back they meantioned Sir Victor Mayhew sighted Jolly Roger's Ship the Harkaway... and hey what do ya know - the ship is in the invasions! Catching on yet?

They said it would come out last year in January 2009...... so I picked "maybe soon..... long time". I think many of the pirate population will go down if it doesn't come in the summer.

I was debating over long time or next year because they have been talking about this since '08. Hopefully it will happen this summer or at least some time this year.

I have a friend who is friends with a guy who works with POTCO... maybe i could get a little out of him...
