New Sailing
 

Is anyone else sick of limping into port at 5 knots with all your sails peeled by a ship smaller than you? Any thoughts on getting D to give us back the sailing from before they changed it?

From what I remember, the sailing is now the way it was when I started the game almost 2 yrs ago. I am getting old, lol. But, yes that is very annoying. IMO this is at least a part of the game that hasnt been dumbed down like the hand to hand combat has been.

it is a level playing field. Then enemy can take down our mast by hitting our sails as we can do the same to them. I personally don't like it. I want it back the other way where hitting a sail just puts a hole in it. This super strong sails pulling the whole mast down just isn't right.

Lol hmm, getting a sail knocked off your war frigate by a light sloop or viper is annoying but I think it adds to the difficulty. We have had it too easy with the sailing for a long while now and its good that Disney has added this to the enemy ships. After all it's nothing less than some of us do when sailing. Is it? Keeps you on your toes!! Hehe!

As Polly said, this does add to the difficulty. But hey, were not 5 year olds. However, one blow from a cannon and your sail is down is a little strange. They should have it a couple hits, and to add detail to the hits, maybe the wood chips or dents or something but it takes like 3-5 hits to take the mast down.
