End of the Player's Page?
 

I have recieved two e-mails from Disney saying that on 1/5/2010 (that is today) ,that they will be ending the My Page feature of the offical site.They continue to say that there is a new creation area and that one's widgets will be saved.I'm pretty sure that the My Page is an interconnected system with the Player's Page,I may be wrong however as I have not used it extremely often.If they are connected then we may loose the Player's Page,which would be a mistake.Has anyone else recieved such an notice?I have not seen things update quickly on the Player's Page,I have had a guild made for a month now and it is not displaying for me,I did speak with toanuju22 and he said two members on my new guild,which is correct,quite strange.

Yes i have received multiple emails of that - I am sure Disney is just trying to figure out a way to make it... simpler?
Who knows, perhaps we will get something more instead (like working leaderboards)? :psmiley35:

I think they are just taking something away and adding other. Might be wrong though :)

Yup got the same notice. I hope they do replace it with something with a better interface and that actually works.

Same here, but I don't really care since I am "international" and can't access it.

I hope they make a page that works..... wow I did not know skirata was international and that sounds unfair that u cant use the page.

I am not really international. I am... Lets say... In between?

Maybe leaderboards which level 50 section actually works again so I can go back to the level 50 thread?

Other than that.... Kinda sad that its going down.

I'm somwhat sure that it is a coustomizable page that all D members (POTCO and alike) can make.The loading is pretty odd and it does take some getting used too.Same format as the Player's Page.

I truly hope they don't totally do away with the leaderboards... it was a nice way to show our guild members how they stacked up. We weren't overly competitive but good to see how you're doing and which members leveled what skills.

I've gotten them too and I've been thinking that they are getting rid of the "my page"/"player page" to make it more simple while just having the community pages. Personally, every time I've tried to load my page it never loads wrong. I finally gave up and would just log in and head to the POTCO community page. I use this to keep up with my friends lists in the game. Easiest way to find out if someone you havent seen in a while has deleted their pirate.

Taking another look I believe "My Page" and "Player Page" are two different things. "My Page" is a general Disney page while "Player Page" is the one that has POTCO related info.

My Pge is the one being retired. However, the "Player page " hasn't been updated in ages.

So... what you're saying then is that we can still check leaderboards, still check out peeps on dxd if they want in our guild, etc?
