Losing internet connection with new version of POTC

Ever since the updates that were released in early December, I haven't been able to play at all. I've just celebrated my 1-year anniversary playing with POTC last November and have now become very frustrated. I play on an eMac, and in the past have only had minor problems concerning lag, server connections being dumped... etc, but not being able to log on at all is the newest problem. over the past month and a half I've been emailing back & forth with the IT guys at POTCO and they've given me an array of solutions to my problem.... all of them in vain. The most recent thing they told me to try was bypassing my router and hooking my ethernet cable straight to the computer. I really hope this works.
I plan on trying it tonight.
But it seems to me that Disney and/or POTCO IT really has no idea how to make playing the game on a MAC better. Anyone have any other suggestions or have encountered these issues? :skull:

I had the same problem at one time, but I don't use emac, and yes - unplugging the router and hooking the modem DIRECTLY to the computer can sometimes be a solution.

Well if you're talking to all the tech guys at POTCO I guess you don't need me. :p

I have a Mac and I have never had those problems. Ask Jason Davy... He seems to be the Mac POF expert.

But I don't think your problem will be solved with the solution they gave you. Because wouldn't all your internet be messed up to?

That's what I mean. They tell me it's my computer when it's obviously whatever was in the December updates. My internet works fine for everything else.
