Kraken and Davy Jones?
 

Ok, so one of my friends told me that before the invasions (at the 30 minute warning) the Kraken would come out and you could fight it. I'm not sure if I believe it though because no one else has reported it.

Another friend of mine said that if you sailed to the end of the world you could fight Davy Jones and he was the ??? like Jolly Roger, not at a specific time. Again I am not sure because I have not heard any other reports of this.

I am sorry to tell you this but.. Some friends are just not to be trusted! :buds:

Lol sort of figured. I sort of knew one of them was (he pranks EVERYONE in the guild) and the other person, probably saw a big skele ship. And does anyone know if the new story chapter has come out on test?

No new story on quest. All thats new on test is the play in webpage.

eeeeh I was hoping for a better result in test. I'm disapointed in pirates online right now. Not even on TEST! I know they have been working on it, but it seems they haven't or have been just very lazy on it. This is just sad...

You take every chance you can to bring up the fact that the next chapter has not come out as of yet. It's only the 4th of January and it's Monday. Normally, new releases and updates to test come out on Thursday's.

And I am pleased with everything POTCO has done and am looking forward to 2010. If I were you, I would see how much NOTO you can get before the next big update comes. Otherwise, you probably won't enjoy it.

Thing is, they've been working on it for over a year. Hopefully comes out soon. Its hard being patient. Weapon grinding has gotten EXTREAMLY boring. I really hope disney actually will realease it soon.

Disney said they would be focusing on making the gameplay better in 2009. They also said they would be releasing the Kraken in 2009 (the second story chapter?), so they are late... How many days? About 5?

I don't see the reason for being so impatient, I am sure they will add new stuff soon! In the mean time you could finish the First Chapter if you are not interested in grinding weapons. Still, the Second Story Chapter will be probably for higher levels (30+, or so i would think?) so you will need your weapons to be higher than what they are now :)

Good point there Jeanne, they aren't gonna make the chapers choosable I'm sure. So everyone out there saying they want a new chapter, well, you're gonna have to do the Pearl Quest first if you haven't already.

As for me, I could care less about the Kracken, the only reason I wish they'd put the thing in is so people could stop asking about it. Though it would probably then be people asking for some other thing...

I'm surprised Ang, most of us have known for some time there nothing out there except the message "You've Sailed To The Edge Of The World" :) I thought you yourself would of made the journey at one time to see :D

As for that Kraken garble, thats just a bunch of hum-bug :D
