Was this a repost? It's a week old.

How about the fact that I run Vista and I have time to go to the store and cook dinner before the game loads? It's not only Windows 7...

Stella,

I just upgraded to Windows 7 and the delay issue is back to the way it was before the last update was applied. Meaning not much at all. And was running Vista at begining of week after fixes were installed to fix this issue, and they were.

Mick,
I am mainly a windows pirate, but I also play the game on a iMAC. It is less that a year old and I am running the newest Leopard operating system with no issues on either live or test.
Have you tried reinstalling the launcher?

Yes. Many times. I've pretty much tried everything. I've played email tag with the POTC IT people for weeks and they've yet given me an adequate solution. Mostly they've told me it was issues with my router or my firewall settings, so I reconfigured the ports to my router to accept POTC, and there was no change. The most recent advice was to bypass my router when I play and connect straight to my computer. Now my internet cable is the screw-in type (no USB). So now I'm wondering if I need to go out and search for a USB adapter (which I've never seen and don't even know if there even is such a thing). It is all very frustrating, especially since I was playing just fine 2 months ago. I would hate to have to cancel my membership, since I'm an officer of my guild and a level 44 which took me a year to get to.
