Invasions now in the open! :)
 

So we had a few invasions today!!!
For the first time outside of test servers!
Pretty exciting, huh!
What did everyone think of them?
Personally i thought it was awesome! and gave a tremendous amount of rep! :D

Im invasioned out honestly...

PDF is coming next, and I can't say Im overly excited at this point! LOL

I agree with Nelly. Getting bored with the game and with the lack of new quests and new storylines.

I think they are a lot of fun Capt. Elizabeth!! It's an awesome way to get together with me guild and friends and have some fun. Whenever the counter comes up everyone starts getting excited as the officers look for a good server.

Glad you enjoy them and I am looking forward to the PDF invasions as well.

Great strategy is... gather a crew on a quiet server, and do an invasion there. Little lag, great rep bonus - THEN, afterwards jump to an ideal server. The slow server invasions take little time to wrap up, while ideal or busy servers take MUCH longer. Ive done up to 3 invasions at ONE time this way.

But now.. I ignore the 'Invasion alerts' and go on about my usual business.... =(

Im thinking..... these are leading up to the new story!

I agree with Nelly, I'm kinda invasioned out! It was fun the first couple of times , now it is getting extremly boring. Padres is the next isle that Jolly will invade. Its on test now!
Im still hopeful that potc will get there act together and bring something new to the lifelong players . Other then the weapon upgrades /side quests etc. that seem to please some but for the people that have been playing this game since it has come out Oct 31, 2007. It is getting to the point of complete bordom. I would hope to see a new storyline quest kinda like the Black pearl. POTc have been making promises to bring this to the game however they never seem follow through..... I feel that POTC is baiting us along for something that is never coming. And that is not fair!

Last invasion sounds like Padres coming out in a week or so!

Invasions have become so often that I've begun to leave the game. I guess I got ready for something new and exciting to come and it all came to nothing. Until they begin to update regularly, I'm not coming back, except for a couple of checks now and then.

Im starting to agree. They need to change them up a bit. Maybe a Navy or EITC invasion! That would be pretty cool:)
But if it just keeps being Jolly Roger and his crew, it's gonna get old and i mean it will get old FAST! If it hasn't already. lol:)

There could not be EITC or Navy invasions because those islands are there home islands. They aren't just the pirate islands, but they also belong to the Navy and EITC.

I played Cougar in all three - but for the first two, I was disconnected during the invasion and by the time I got back online, it was over.

Seems like the Port Royal invasions were a little longer.. or maybe it is the fact that it takes FOREVER to log on now... but regardless, Cougar missed out on most of the first 2 invasions. I actually made it through the 3rd one.

I still enjoy them - it is exciting to ask around to try to find a friendly guild to work with on a quiet server, then call all me guildies to join us.

Just wish there was something that could be done about the lag and the absurdly long tp time and log on time ( and the random disconnects)

I was sort of thinking maybe a boss invasion. That would be FUN and challenging. But maybe before navy and eitc invasions, there could be some reason why the pirates gained control over port royal, pdf, ect. And the navy joined jolly roger to get it back.
