Nice only why windows 7?? I run Vista and it used to take f-o-r-e-v-e-r for the game to load after those updates. I hope whatever fixed it on 7 also fixed it on vista.

Anyone can post Release Notes and the Current News here. If a member posts them, that's fine. (We'll just edit it to keep formatting consistent and purty)

I'm not seeing a big loading screen improvement on my XP machine. Took almost 2 minutes to land. Used to be a lot quicker.

..? I don't think we had a problem with the ships sinking bow first, I thought some people just asked for some variety (though we had been living with stern sinking for the past 2 years anyway).

I wish they'd reinstate the entire old mast breaking routine. Yes, it's easier to break enemy ships' masts.. but it's also easier for them to break yours, with broadsides even. I was watching my son play on his war ships and he was losing his sails repeatedly. He's really never had that sort of problem before. I've also had a round of broadsides take my sailing speed down at least a quarter of the way. This can happen even from lower level ships against a war ship when passing by them.

Something seems odd about this picture. Lost all my sails 1:1 with a Barracuda, and my ship only took 14% damage to the hull. A sloop firing broadsides at a galleon took down all of its sails.

I guess Disney has addressed the "what do we spend our gold on" problem. /sarcasm

edit: Okay, now I know I'm not crazy. Since that last big update, they've broken the "Invert Mouselook" option when sailing. Moving the mouse up/down does move the camera down/up respectively when on the pirate, but not when at the helm.

12/23 update

Aye, I use xp and have noticed no improvement in landing time, tp time, or with lag issues. I am still logging off when the lag gets so bad I can't play. :( and me mates go to jail before I can arrive to revive them. :( :(

If you think that's bad, check this out. This was when you would be invincible during the Boss Battle ( which was a few weeks ago ( The Goliath was the only thing that could bring down the invincibility.) ):

Just as your Galleon's sails got busted by a Sloop, One of the Pearl's sails got broken by the Fort at the far right in the beginning ( I was right in front of it, bad choice doing so, too ), and the other one was finished by the Left/Last fort.

As you can see, Disney has made it a little worse ( "a little?" More than that ) for us to sail. Not only have they given enemy ships a higher hull defense, of which raised by 25%, they've also either lowered OUR hull defense majorly, or raised enemy ship damage majorly as well.
