Holiday Decorations/Surprises here yet?
 

Anyone seen the "holiday surprises" disney said was supposed to be out today? :william:

yes, tortuga and port royal are decorated with Christmas stuff.

I found a few snow/sandmen

Padres too... the decorations are cute. I wish we had some new stuff in shoppes. I am dissappointed with the last set of updates. The graphics are ok on high... the ship sails are still strange, load time is terrible. I had to do alot of tweeking to get the program to run at a speed close to what i had before. The look and the sound of the game has deteriorated. The only nice new feature is the cargo drop. I was hoping with the decorations we would get something.

Aye, same here I was hoping for a Christmas/Holiday hat or bandanna and also new clothing and new weapons. :/ :( They really should have released the new inventory system. I think they are running behind this month :/ :(

I love the Christman decorations!!! Sandmen & Holly & red bows all over the islands. I believe it is a big step from the decorations a year ago. Only problem is that when the season is over the decorations are taken down. <<sigh>> The islands will seem empty, just like your house when ya take the tree down...
Oh well, we get to enjoy them for a few weeks.

I personally love the Christmas stockings in a couple of shops that have grenades/daggers in them. Also love the red bows on the grenades sitting on countertops of the weapons shops. (I assume these are in most of them, I only checked in PR though.) Agreed these are major upgrades from last year, I love all the ribbons and things around. And of course the Sandmen. =) I wish they would decorate for more holidays though, it makes for a nice change of scenery.

I think it's awesome. Apparently some of the wild islands have decorations too. Will be checking that out next time I am on. The whole thing is very well done and I love the sandmen. LOL

Gingeann - If you look at the release notes you will see that Disney is aware of the problems and working on them. The cannonball sounds are back in the game now and I do have some sail animation now. Hopefully the load times will come back in line soon.

• One Jolly roger sandman
• One sandman with eye patch

Even the skies are decorated.....

I like the decorations. Yes, they are cheesy, yes they seem like another example of cheap content to some (NOT ME). But, it is progress. Last year, it was a few ribbons, some wreaths, and stockings. It was nice, but not much. This year, we have stuff. It's a sign they're starting to add stuff. If they had these things for xmas, what could they have for next year?
