Question: Can you still see your self at helm?
When you are sailing now, I cannot see drivers on other ships. Can you see yourself on board your ship at the wheel? Can you see your crew at the cannons?
I always got a kick out of seeing little people run around the deck. Also, I loved to blast away at the enemy driver on the flagships, going to miss that:sadmh9:. What about SVS can you see the people on the other ships? |
In regular sailing last night, I could see myself and my crewmates. But I couldn't see anyone on the enemy ships.
I don't SvS, so can't answer you there. |
I can still see the driver. Barley, but yes i can.

Would be good if anyone who plays SvS regularly could verify if you can see other pirates on the ships... because how is grape shot effective if you can't see your targets?
|
Oh. lol now I know what grape shot is. Now I know why sometimes I just randomly pass out on my ship. Any way I don't really do svs. But I'll try it out sometimes and see if it works.

While on test, a friend and I tested some features out in SvS. And while it's been awhile, I do recall being able to see each other as we took turns firing at each other. In fact, we specifically took aim at one another to see what it would take to make our opponent die. It was hilarious watching yourself get knocked out time after time.

I dont' SvS or PvP... too competitive for my way of playing.
But a friend of mine relayed some info to me regarding his experience with "seeing the enemy" on board their ships. "Well, one thing to add on this topic... the "Character Detail Level" has to be on HIGH or else enemies are invisible at sea. In SvS, grape shot is 100% ineffective when the enemies are invisible. On my computer, to play SvS, I have to have character detail level set to "LOW" or the lag is intolerable." :) This was the same friend who was purposely trying to hit me with grape shot just to see what it would take to take me out. Hope that gives you some info... |
