Web Page for my guild??

:piratewheelgo2:

Hey fellow pirates!! Been thinking for a while now about creating a web page for my guild on live which would also include my sister guild on test. Was wondering if any of you pirates out there know of some places to do this for free. Want something to post screenies, keep up with members, blog, etc. If any of you have ideas, please let me know in this thread.

Happy piratin'!!

I'm not sure a guild web page would be the best way to do that. Perhaps just create a thread in the Guilds section here?

I use Freewebs. Take a look and see if that does the job for you.

I used guild launch for my old guild, I like the tools and admin features there.

Wasnt sure if the Admins here were happy about folks posting for other sites. I can tell you that you can check the Elite Thievery Company's site and it's host. Just search for us on the web.

I think you can post which site you use, but can't post the actual site or link.

If it is OK to mention, my guild uses (used...RIP old guild...) a blog host for a pretty serviceable guild page. It worked for us because it is template based... No coding.

Hey, actually, a blog service would work extremely well for a guild! Fantastic idea. As a means of communication, members could comment on posts. And you can use a Google account on Google's blogging service, which is really easy-to-use. You can name your own URL, too. :D

Ty all for the help. I have created a site for my guild and used lefora. Chose them for the ammount of storage they have for the free site.

I hope this thread will help others who are looking into doing the same for their guild.

Happy piratin!!
