Third party violation?

It was brought to my attention there are a number of pirate that do the speed glitch which is a third party.
Lately I have seen more and more people doing something awfully odd also. Pirates will attack over and over for hours, same place, same moves over and over. This has something to do with "auto-clicker"

Would you consider this part of the same rule as Third Party violation like speed?
Would/should someone get in trouble for doing this?

Sven Osymthe 11-17-2009 03:03 AM

Yes, it is a violation, because it is a third party program allowing them to do this.

Anyone who does this should, and would get in trouble for doing so. Plenty of people have in the past, but a lot have gotten away with it too.

Yes, I would think it could be. This could also be applied to hardware devices that do the same function.

Glad you decided to choose the fun way to do it.... all you and no substitute.

In reality... what it comes down to is...

The rules are written with a bit of vagueness that allows Disney to apply/exercise them at their own descretion. We can discuss and debate the issue on length, and never be right because when it comes down to it, it is likely interpreted/applied by Disney as the game 'climate' dictates and/or the severity of any outcome that may change that game 'climate'.

I would recommend exercising caution as this climate can change, and not necessarily based on your own actions, but actions of others you do not even have knowledge of. I would say if you have to ask yourself "Is this breaking the rules?" then even it its not, its likely not an action that would be considered appropriate/considerate by the rest of the community. Let your conscience be your guide.
