Leaving Tia Dalma for an ocean swim to PR?
 

This has happened to me twice and it's obnoxious:

When exiting the swampy area with Tia Dalma on Cuba, I reappear on the back side of an island in the ocean. My map shows that I'm on Cuba, but when I start swimming around the entire island, I end up in Port Royal as soon as I hit land I can walk on.

Anyone else have this happen? Is there something obvious that I'm missing which makes this sound logical to exit a Cuba swamp to end up in Port Royal waters??

Happens to me all the time...I use to swim as you mention, but a group I was with over the weekend said to try teleporting to Cuba. As you may, or may not know, if you are on one of the major islands with teleporting, you can resend yourself to the same island you are currently on, even without having the totem. So, if you find yourself leaving Tia and end up in the water, go to your map and click the TP on Cuba. Even though, if swimming, you are near PR, the TPing to Cuba works. Go figure.

I do not have this problem.

Ah wish I knew that before! Ironically, I now have my Cuba teleportation totem and I no longer get stranded in the sea when I leave Tia.

That happens to me all the time. I'm going to see if I can send a bug report to them, after all, I really want this game to be bug-free!

This happened to me for the first time today, I teleported myself to PR.

Happened to me several times. I just teleported though to PR or Tortuga. Never let me swim anywhere though...always said you cannot swim in high waters or whatever everyway I went.

It's happened to me several times, and I submitted a bug report about a week ago. When it happens, I don't even bother trying to swim around to land, I just logout then log back in.

Good suggestion on teleporting somewhere (anywhere) instead of walking back over the bridge.

LOL, teleporting has got me out of a lot of different bugs in this game either when stuck somewhere or stuck talking to somebody

I haven't had this problem but once when I wen't to cuba I couldn't see the stupid bridge although everybody else was walking over it with no problem
