need help with login....
 

ok i just staretd playing and whenever i log in it goes to the loading screen. You know the one with the red spinning that at the bottom. and then it will say "(POTCO) has encountered a problem and it will ask me if i want to send the error or something and it dont work...anyone know how to fix this thanks

I (& it seems many others) have been experiencing very similar problems when trying to log on.
In my case, just as the log in screen is about to come on, it says I've lost connection to the internet.
I've inquired POTC's IT guys about this many times and they've told me a variety of reasons why this may be happening. Most of their replies seem to revolve around my router and Firewall settings. In my most recent reply, they told me to hardwire my internet straight to my computer with the ethernet cable instead of having it run thru my router. I havent tried this yet, but I plan on looking into it tonight. For the record, I also play on a eMac. So my problems may differ from yours if you run a PC. Just thought I'd give some info & hope this will help.

grrr i am haveing the same probelms i have done the internet thingy and yet it still wont go to the page where u can pick ur pirates :(
