iBook G4 Keyboard Issue

Hello all I am new to the beta and I have to say I am enjoying it a lot. That is to say I am enjoying it a lot on my PC. I also have an iBook G4, which I was hoping to play the game on the go. The only issue I am having here is when I play the game it runs fine and loads up fine, but I am unable to move my character. The game just beeps like an error sound, but my mouse works fine. I was wondering if anybody has experienced this issue with their Mac or know of what it could be. I just want to thank you all in advance.

:h-face:

wow, sounds like this guy really needs help, this may not be the best place to start asking. I'd try to contact potco staff directly.

Yeah I just went ahead and sent them an email directly. I reported it to the tech website, but I do not know if I would hear back from that or not. So I just went ahead and covered both areas.

Need an INTEL based Mac.

I have a Mac myself, but it is Intel based. The game will only work with Intel based Macs.

I believe the G4 iBook isn't Intel Based. It's a PowerPC CPU -- a PowerPC processor.

That would be your main reason for it not working.

Hope I helped!

Well according to the specs that are posted on the Disney website it says that G4 and Intel Macs are supported by the game.

Mac:
OS 10.4.6 (Tiger)
PowerPC G4 or any Mac with any Intel processor
512 MB RAM
700 MB free disk space
Broadband connection

Hmm. Is your G4 iBook a PowerPC3 or a PowerPC4 processor? I only ask because I know some of the earlier model G4iBooks had PowerPC3 processors instead of the 4's in the later half of the year.

Have you tried installing and re-intstalling?

arthas045 10-06-2007 05:45 AM

I haven't tried re-installing yet, but its a PC4... I tried hooking up an external keyboard, but that did not seem to help at all... Maybe it has something to do with it being on a laptop I am not sure. Disney has not replied to my email yet, so I have no advice from them yet.
