A PoF Guild?
 

Is there interest in forming a PiratesOnlineForums.com guild?
I'll be happy to form it if there are folks in beta looking for a guild.

Are the guilds holding after logoff? unlike the crews?

But you might want to let people know what will happen to this guild when the game goes Open. Will you keep it on Test (which few will playing at that point), or will you make a new one on Open? I imagine there will be enough interest for several POF-affiliated guilds on Open.

If you do, can you post it here..? And pick an Instant Message program to require... Umm... if you had like Yahoo IM (lets you be on invisible), you wouldn't really need the guild option (that might dump when you log off).

Does the whole guild get credit..? You have to be logged-on..? Or you have to be in the same battle..?

I would think it was the last one, but I get credit for ships I don't sink (but I have been Engaged)

I started this idea and am waiting for the response of the Mods for permission to create the guild. The Tortugan Terror guild would be changed into the POF Guild if the mods approve my idea.

Just briefly looking at your guidelines for being in your guild I'd say that it isn't something I'd want to support a "The PiratesOnlineForums" guild.

Far too restrictive.

I'll talk to Batleth about it but I'd rather see an offcial PoF guild be far more inclusive than what I see on your thread.
