Completion of Grenade Quest
 

Ok, so I completed the grenade quest and was given the grenade pouch. The combat skill, Throw, was unlocked, but the ammo skill, Explosive, was not. Hovering the mouse over Explosive says it should be unlocked at level 0. Obviously, this means I cannot use grenades as the starting ammo skill was not unlocked as it should have been.

Anyone else having this problem? Maybe I am not doing something correctly?

My husband has the same problem. He got the grenade but can't buy ammo for it because it says you need training for it.

Yep, same problem.

I think they thought nobody would to grenade, so they didn't make Explosive or forgot to add it.

I just got the grenade pouch. Have any of you been able to get the explosive yet?

How is your Cannon Skill..?
It looks like at Level 10, Barrage (for the Cannon) becomes available... Not a lot of info. in the description, but seems to include grenade with the cannon fire somehow.

Well it seems they've fixed this a little too well... My pirate was working on getting the grenade, and when I went to the gunsmith to buy more grapeshot ammo, I was able to buy grenade ammo even though I wasn't finished with the quest yet.

Be careful with buying ammo for skills not yet unlocked. Not sure if they fixed this yet or not but I was able to buy grape shot (for cannon) without having the skill unlocked. And since I was new I had no idea what I was doing would just buy whatever was available for me to buy when in gunsmith shop. Well I now have 100 grape shot ammo and can't unlock grape shot. At first I wasn't able to level up any skills (ended up having 3 skill points stocked). They fixed that bug so I was able to use my skill points but still not on grape shot. It's been a few days though since I've had a skill point to use so they may have fixed this bug by now.

I had this same problem but they fixed it on the last update. I woudl still advise dont buy anything until its fuly unlocked!
