Homeworld: 10 Years And Counting...
 

So before I was into Pirates - I was a big RTS gamer... played for years Command and Conquer series and the Age of Empire series.

But all these games 10 years ago were a) 2D... which looked really good but still and b) were all "land based"... and I am a bit of a space freak :D

10 years ago though - a new RTS game was being relased (which I actually ran a site for way back then) - in 3D, in space and 3 deminision movement (x, y and z axis movement - true space flying :D ) and that was Homeworld...

So for its 10 years, I dug out my copy and played the missions all over again - must admit I still have the touch ;)

So to a great game and another 10 years, heres but a few screens for all the space flying folks and a great game - Higara - Our Home.

I LOVED Homeworld! Truly a terrific game.

Homeworld 2, not so much....

I have Age of Empires II if thats the games you mean that you played.

I loved homeworld. Picked it up on discount thought it looked interesting and ended up being one of the best games I ever played... great back story as well with it.
I really have not seen a whole lot to top it since. --- although I have not tried Eve yet.
